TEE TIME REQUESTS
The NYSGA will make an effort to accommodate tee time requests that are submitted (
click here) before tee times are released.

PAIRINGS

Are released at least five (5) business days prior to the qualifier - you will be notified via email when they are posted.

PRACTICE ROUNDS

The availability and pricing of practice rounds is set at the discretion of the host club. Please contact the club for more information.

TRANSFERS
The NYSGA may permit a registered player to transfer their entry to another qualifying site, but they must follow the directions below:

  • Notify the NYSGA by email (champs@nysga.org).
  • The transferring player may be placed on an alternates list for the new site, or fill any openings.
  • Alternates are ranked by the time and date of receipt of entry.
  • A player can change qualifying sites up until 12pm (noon) of the day prior of the qualifying site the entrant was accepted to.

REFUND POLICY

A portion of the entry fee, based on the schedule below, will be refunded regardless of reason if the NYSGA is notified (315-471-6979 or via email at deb@nysga.org): Prior to deadline: Entry fee less $20. After the deadline: Entry fee less $50. 24 hours prior to event: No refund.

GOLF CARTS & ONE-SEAT POLICY

The use of a golf cart is included in the entry for all sites except Bethpage, where players can rent a cart in the pro shop. The use of a golf cart is also permitted during Championship rounds. A player is not required to take a golf cart.

The NYSGA's "One-Seat" Policy is in effect. If two players are riding, they must take one cart. Either the player or his caddie can ride, never both at the same time regardless if a seat is 'open'. Failure to follow this policy is a breach of the NYSGA's Code of Conduct.

PUSH CARTS
The use of push carts, whether motorized or manual, is allowed.

CADDIES

The use of a caddie is allowed (not required). Caddies must dress in golf attire and should not wear golf shoes with spikes.

WITHDRAWALS

If a player needs to withdraw, please notify the NYSGA by emailing champs@nysga.org. Failure to properly withdraw (no show) may result in suspension from future NYSGA competitions.
